I guess some background information is important so you will know your bear artist a little better. I grew up in the Appalachian hills and valleys of Vermont. Things are old and cherished there…money was scarce, so you made do with what you had. That philosophy went with me through life. Careerwise, I taught 1st grade following graduation from college (7 years), raised 2 children as a single parent. Career took a sharp turn into Government work and finally I retired as a financial management specialist who worked with country-wide audits. I have always sewn, have dabbled with oil and watercolor painting, and have had an ongoing love for colors everywhere. I collected teddy bears until my taste in bears became much too expensive…therefore, 10 years ago, I started my own bearmaking. Judy Leonard (Taz Bears) of Ocala, Florida was my long distance mentor. She is one fantastic and talented friend!! So, this brings you to my very own web page, where you can meet some of my bears and possibly add some of them to your own bear family.

About buying my teddy bears and such

Email me, telling me what you want. I accept payment by cashier’s check, money order or PayPal. If you are a bit short on cash, I will arrange with you to pay for your new furry friend with three equal payments. Upon receipt of your third payment, I will mail your bear or bunny via USPS Priority Mail, delivery confirmation and insured. Shipping costs are added to your purchase price.
