I will be offering unique bears made in a lovely combination of vintage crewel embroidered fabrics and mohair. They will be a colorful new concept in bear making …to capture a vintage look and mood. I will also be offering special all-mohair bears. For fun, I am showing a few mohair bears now living in collector homes.

In addition to being 1 or 2 of a kind, all bears are handstitched by me …the old fashioned way. No bears are farmed out to be put together and no sewing machines are used. All bears are fully jointed and are hand scissored here and there.

Watch for the following bears after the holidays …specialty 12” bears done in crewel embroidery and mohair. I will also be introducing a new series of bears inspired by the gorgeous, intense and deep colors of the Southwest.

The “and such” category will offer creations other than bears, with perhaps an unusual antique or an artist bear from my personal collection.
